AT THE EDGE OF Death Valley
Five acres of desert calm. A NASA trailer from '69. A Spartan Executive Mansion that used to be an art studio. An Oingo Boingo fever dream. A '55 Imperial frozen in time. A tiki bar (BYOB) under the stars. Chrome rivets and curved ceilings and stories you step inside. Just show up. We did the hard part.

BORTLE CLASS 2 SKIES

The Milky Way isn't a metaphor out here. No light domes. No ambient glow. Just you and approximately 100 billion stars.

TOWING REQUIRED

That's the whole point. Fly into Vegas, drive an hour, check into a restored vintage trailer on the doorstep of Death Valley. The trailers are here. The desert is here. You just need to show up.

NEVER THE SAME PLACE TWICE

RuthVille is alive. It shifts, it evolves, it has moods. You'll never get the same place twice — Ruth sees to that.

A DIFFERENT WAY TO STAY NEAR DEATH VALLEY

Searching for Death Valley hotels, motels near Pahrump, or a place to stay that isn't a beige box off the highway? RuthVille is lodging at the gateway to Death Valley: four restored vintage trailers with real beds, fresh linens, heat and AC, morning coffee, and Bortle Class 2 dark skies. About an hour's drive from Las Vegas. No RV required. No front desk. No beige.

Where is RuthVille?

At the gateway to Death Valley, near Pahrump, Nevada — somewhere in the Amargosa. Fly into Las Vegas, drive about an hour. Exact directions arrive with your confirmed reservation.

Is RuthVille a hotel or a motel?

Neither — and that's the point. RuthVille is a vintage trailer court: four restored aluminum trailers on five acres of desert, each with a real bed, fresh linens, heat and AC. All the comfort of a room, none of the parking-lot view.

Is Pahrump a good base for visiting Death Valley?

Yes. The Pahrump side is the closest gateway when you're coming from Las Vegas, and RuthVille sits out where the desert gets quiet — dark skies at night, the park down the road in the morning.

How many people can stay?

Each trailer sleeps two. Four trailers in the whole court, so it never gets crowded.

How do I book a trailer?

Pick your trailer and dates on the reserve page. We read every request and confirm personally, usually within a day — your card holds your spot but doesn't get charged until we say yes. No call center, no instant anything.
