WELCOME TO RuthVille
you found us. that means something.
You're here because someone decided you belonged here. That decision wasn't made lightly.
Ruthville has a website. That's about all we'll say about that. There's no phone number, no email address, and no customer service line. If you found the site and made it through the application — ID, credit card, vetting and all — welcome to the other side. If someone gave you a referral, even better. That's exactly how this is supposed to work.
Every guest who makes it through receives a personal password. It's yours. It's unique to you. It was checked at the door and it's on file. We don't issue passwords to see if people share them — we issue them because we already know they might, and we'll know exactly who did. Your password is not a party favor. It is not something to whisper to a friend who seems cool. It is a thread that leads directly back to you, and if someone shows up holding your word, that's your problem now.
There's no shortcut. There's no back door. If you're supposed to be here, you'll find your way here. If you're not, the application page is a very polite dead end.
The best places have always worked this way. The speakeasies that became legend. The private runs that nobody talked about. The rooms where the right people gathered and left better for it. Nobody found those places by looking. They got found by those places.
If you're holding this document, you've been vetted, vouched for, or both. You made it.
All we ask in return is that you protect what you've been given access to. If someone asks where you spent the weekend, it was nice. If someone asks what Ruthville is, you smile. If someone asks how to get an invite, you tell them you don't know what they're talking about — or if you trust them, maybe you mention there's a website.
Because if they're supposed to be here, they'll find it. And if they're not — well, that's exactly why the vetting exists.
By setting foot on the property, you're agreeing to everything in this document — all of it, even the parts that sound like a lawyer wrote them. Especially those parts.
THE RUTHVILLE Way
these aren't suggestions. they're the deal.
RULE ZERO
You don't talk about Ruthville. Not on social media. Not to people who weren't invited. Not in passing conversation with people you think might be cool. If someone asks where you were, it was nice. If someone asks what Ruthville is, you smile. If someone asks how to get an invite, you don't know what they're talking about.
The location, the people, the vibe, the details — none of it leaves. And your password absolutely does not leave. It is tied to your identity, it was verified on entry, and it is on file. If your password shows up somewhere it shouldn't, the trail ends at you. Sharing it — intentionally or carelessly — is grounds for immediate and permanent removal, and may void any protections otherwise extended to you under these rules.
The secrecy is what keeps this worth protecting. The people who are supposed to find Ruthville will find it. Everyone else doesn't need to know it exists.
1
NO SMOKING
Anywhere on the property. Indoors, outdoors, under the stars — doesn't matter. Take it to the street if you must. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vapes, and anything else that produces smoke or vapor. Fire danger is real out here.
2
BE CONSIDERATE
This one covers a lot of ground. If you have to ask yourself "is this cool?" — it probably isn't. Treat this place like you'd want people to treat yours. Treat the other guests the same way.
3
NO HATE, NO BIGOTRY
Ruthville is a welcoming place for everyone who's been invited. Racism, homophobia, sexism, and all their cousins have no home here. Violations of this rule result in immediate removal. No warnings, no second chances.
4
QUIET HOURS
Things wind down at 10:00 PM. Music goes low, voices follow. This is a private compound in a real neighborhood. What happens inside Ruthville stays inside Ruthville — and that means we don't give the outside world a reason to come knocking.
5
RESPECT THE PROPERTY
Leave it better than you found it, or at least the same. If you break something, own it. Accidents happen — pretending they didn't is worse. Guests are financially responsible for damage caused by themselves, their vehicles, their pets, or their guests.
6
GUESTS STAY WITH MEMBERS
You were invited by someone. That someone is responsible for you. If you brought a guest, they're your shadow until they earn their own standing around here. Uninvited guests will be asked to leave.
SPECIFIC Property Rules
FIRE PIT & OPEN FIRES
Open fires are permitted in designated fire pit areas only. No exceptions. Before lighting anything:
  • Check current fire conditions and any active burn bans in Nye County, Nevada
  • Never leave a fire unattended — not even for a minute
  • Keep a water source within arm's reach at all times
  • Fully extinguish all fires before going to sleep or leaving the area
  • Do not burn trash, plastics, aerosols, or accelerant-soaked materials
  • Guest assumes full liability for any fire they initiate on the property
The host reserves the right to prohibit fires at any time based on conditions, wind, or general vibe.
ALCOHOL
Adults 21 and over may consume alcohol on the premises. Ruthville does not provide or sell alcohol — bring your own, share generously, drink responsibly. Guests agree to the following:
  • Intoxicated guests may not operate any vehicle, motorcycle, or motorized equipment on or off the property
  • The host is not a babysitter. Know your limit
  • Disruptive, aggressive, or dangerous behavior resulting from intoxication is grounds for immediate removal
  • Nevada law applies. Don't make it weird
MOTORCYCLES & VEHICLES
Ruthville loves bikes and trucks. Here's how we keep it that way:
  • All vehicles must be operated by licensed drivers with valid insurance
  • Speed on the property is walking pace — 5 mph maximum
  • No riding or driving under the influence. Period
  • Motorcycles and off-road vehicles may only be operated in designated areas
  • Park where you're told. Don't block access routes or other vehicles
  • The host assumes no liability for damage, theft, or loss of any vehicle on the property
  • Fuel, fluids, and maintenance work must be done in designated areas only — no leaks on the ground
FIREARMS
Nevada is an open carry state. Ruthville respects that. With that comes responsibility:
  • All firearms must be handled safely at all times
  • Firearms must be unloaded when not in active use
  • No discharge of firearms on the property without explicit prior authorization from the host
  • Intoxicated individuals may not handle firearms — not negotiable
  • Any unsafe handling of a firearm results in immediate removal from the property
  • The host assumes no liability for any incident involving a personally owned firearm
PETS
Well-behaved animals are welcome. Poorly behaved owners are not.
  • All pets must be current on vaccinations — be prepared to show documentation if asked
  • Pets must be leashed or under direct voice control at all times in common areas
  • You clean it up. Every time. No exceptions
  • Pets may not enter sleeping areas or food prep areas unless the host says otherwise
  • If your animal is aggressive toward people or other animals, it goes home
  • Pet owners are fully liable for any injury or damage caused by their animal
"You did talk to the manager. THE MANAGER TOLD YOU TO LEAVE."
THE LEGAL Stuff
yeah, we have to do this part.
ENFORCEMENT
we don't have bouncers. we have standards.
You Will Be Asked to Leave If You:
  • Violate any rule in this document
  • Create an unsafe situation for yourself or others
  • Become abusive, threatening, or aggressive toward any person or animal
  • Damage or disrespect the property
  • Bring uninvited guests without authorization
Removal is immediate. There are no refunds for any fees, deposits, or contributions paid. The host's decision is final, permanent, and not subject to appeal, debate, or negotiation — here or anywhere else. There is no appropriate channel. There is no process. The decision has been made.
You did talk to the manager. The manager told you to leave.
Repeated or egregious violations may result in a permanent ban from Ruthville and all associated events. So may a single bad moment. That's how private works.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By accepting an invitation to Ruthville and entering the property, you confirm that:
  1. You have read and understood these rules in their entirety
  2. You agree to be bound by them for the duration of your stay
  3. You accept full personal responsibility for your actions and the actions of any guest you bring
  4. You acknowledge that the host has the right to remove you for violations without refund
THE FINAL Word
You came here voluntarily. You were vetted, invited, and welcomed. You read these rules or had ample opportunity to do so. By entering the property and participating in anything that happens here, you waive — to the fullest extent permitted by Nevada law — any and all rights to pursue legal action against Ruthville, its owners, operators, hosts, staff, or other guests for any claim arising from your presence on the property. This includes but is not limited to personal injury, property damage, emotional distress, loss of any kind, or any incident involving other guests, animals, vehicles, fire, or acts of God. You are here by choice. You stay by choice. Everything that happens here, you accepted the moment you walked through the gate.
Will this waiver hold up in every court in every circumstance? Maybe not. But it reflects the genuine agreement you made by showing up, and it will be the first thing anyone reads if it ever comes to that.
Don't make it come to that.
Come to have fun.
Be a good human.
The desert will do the rest.
